Hi everyone! Today's post is a really special one... it's a holiday capsule wardrobe inspired by my favorite 80s fashion icon and festive outfit extraordinaire, Sally Albright from When Harry Met Sally!
WHMS is one of my all-time favorite autumnal movies, but in reality, a lot of the movie takes place during the holiday season (and you know how important New Year's is to the film!) We are also in a total fashion throwback era, with styles from the 70s, 80s, and 90s popping up in all the stores. I pulled the following pieces from a master list of all the outfits that Sally wears, and you can recreate a lot of her looks from the movie OR mix and match your own favorite pieces to get the perfect holiday capsule look!
One of the other aaaaamazing things about this capsule wardrobe is that every piece is under $150, with most coming in under $100! That way, you don't have to feel guilty about adding one or two of these items to your holiday rotation to spice up your look.
A quick note about this capsule: I based it on the capsule wardrobes that The Everygirl makes each year for the season. They are my absolute favorite thing and give me so much inspiration! I wanted to put my own twist on it by basing off of Sally's style, and I hope you love what I've put together for you.
