Midweek Five | August 15

Time for another midweek five! So much has gone in the almost month that I haven't posted, so there's a lot of potential ground to cover.

O N E

Seeing movies is one of my favorite things to do in the evenings or when it's a rainy day, and my most recent watch in theatres was Mamma Mia 2! It was so good even though it didn't have as many of the original ABBA hits as the first movie. Plus, my college roommate and I (and Fran!) agreed that Young Bill was super cute, which was a bonus. Have you seen it yet? Next up on my list of movies to see is Christopher Robin.

T W O

I have been reading so many books that I started a Goodreads account! I like to rotate different types of books so you can see all the different genres I have been enjoying recently, from fiction to business. I also set up a book challenge for myself! Podcasts are becoming another favorite of mine and I am looking for lots of new suggestions! Right now I love The Glossy Podcast and Gals on the Go with Brooke and Danielle.

All summer long I have been doing a great job of keeping my nails long and polished. Growing up I had a really bad habit of biting my nails and I find that keeping nail polish on my nails prevents me from messing with them. Regardless, they are still pretty weak and break very easily, so I started taking biotin supplements and am hoping to see some results soon.

F O U R

Last week, my roommate Lauren came to visit me at home and we had such a fun time. One of my favorite things we did was go to Grounds for Sculpture, which is a really cool sculpture garden, park and art installation. If you are ever in the Princeton, NJ area and looking for a unique activity, I highly recommend!

F I V E

As you can guess from the picture above, I finally got to go to the Glossier showroom in New York City! It was such a beautiful experience and a fun place to visit. I only got one item, which was the Cloud Paint in Beam, but I am hoping to be able to try out some more products from them soon.
