My university conducts recruitment during the spring semester (AKA the cold dead of winter), but often times I've wondered what I would have worn if recruitment happened during the first weeks of school. If you'll be rushing in the fall semester, these looks will keep you polished and not too hot in the summer heat. My school had four rounds of rush, so I've thought up looks for each round; casual for round one, business casual for round two, and semi-formal for round three. Bid day at my school was "white dress required," but in case you'll be handed a fun tee shirt on your bid day, I included a casual look perfect for pairing with any tee!
My main tip for recruitment fashion is to keep it bright, fun, and yourself. During my recruitment, I paired unique outfits, bold colors, and bright lips in order to stand out to the sisters. I wanted a look that wouldn't just blend in with everyone else's! That's why I love the green dress so much for Preference Round. With the pop of orange too, it's the perfect way to express your style with a bold color, and still be in dress code. However, if you're interested in a more subdued look, I also picked out a fun black number with nice embroidery!
