Wish Wish Wishlist: July 2015

Happy July everyone! As always, today's blog post is a roundup of some things on my wishlist for the month. Let's get started!

1 // Abalone shell
I fell in love with the Kendra Scott abalone Elle earrings a looong time ago, and have been craving them ever since! The beachy weather recently has reminded me of this seashell pattern, and I'm totally into it. I hope to score these earrings soon!

2 // Nantucket crewneck

I love the comfy look of big crewneck sweaters. I only own one right now, with the Theta crest on it, but I'm making it my goal to purchase a Nantucket crewneck in the classic faded red. Of course, I'll have to make the trip to Nantucket one day to claim my sweatshirt. This one's on my bucket list, for sure!

3 // Collaborations

I'm super excited to have some awesome collaborations coming up, with both Lightinthebox and Krass and Co! Keep an eye out for those posts soon and check out my good friend, Luminata, in the meantime! She agreed to help me out with photos and she's the best.

4 // Pineapples

Pineapples scream summertime to me! These fun printed pom-pom shorts are going to be part of my collab with Lightinthebox soon, and I can't wait. They are going to be the perfect short to take to the beach with me all summer long.

5 // Books

I am really into reading this summer. I wrote a whole blog post about it here and have since thought of at least 10 more books that I should check out this month and next. I've heard lots of good things about Crazy Rich Asians, so I might try that one out! 

6 // Chillato

I'm still obsessed with this nail polish and I can't wait to finally test it out. No other explanation needed.

7 // Marbella set

I'm surprisingly digging this two piece from Lilly Pulitzer! I love the bright orange and pink colors and think the white detailing really pops. I've seen a few people wearing this and it looks gorgeous with a tan. This is definitely my favorite of the new releases.

8 //  Jeans

BREAKING NEWS: I love jeans so much that I don't own a single pair of leggings!! The American Eagle jeans are my favorite and are the only jeans I've found to fit me perfectly over the years. My next few pairs will hopefully be some high waisted skinnies, destroyed skinnies, or huge bell-bottoms! I don't think I can buy just one!

9 // 70's

I just said "huge bell-bottoms" about two seconds ago and I'm sure you're thinking, "Vic, why in the world would you want some ridiculous flare jeans? Aren't those so 2002?" And yes, you're right. I did rock some flare jeans back in the day, but now that style is all about bringing back the seventies, bell bottom jeans are my new weakness. I think a nice high waisted pair with a flowy floral top and some platform wedges can be so vintage, and so new! Look out for more blog posts about my love for all things 70s!

10 // Blogger planner

Since I came home from school, I've been thinking to myself that I could use a blogger planner. I get so caught up sometimes in the 30 something drafts I have to write and all my different ideas, and it could be super helpful to have a written out plan of all my blogging for the week. I mean, I plan everything else, so why not that too?

11 // Palm prints

This summer, palm prints are taking over! I love the look of palm prints, and hope to incorporate some into my style this summer. These phone cases are super cute! I'm looking into getting an iPhone and there are so many more case options. Should I make the switch? Comment below!

12 // Yellow button down

Oxford shirts are pretty common in my wardrobe, but I have yet to purchase a yellow one. I have a pink and white striped Ralph Lauren button down, and a yellow one could add another fun pop of color to my wardrobe. They go with everything and can fit any season!
