Scarves are one of my favorite fall-time accessories, especially when I'm not wearing a turtleneck. With short hair, I always find that my ears, neck, and shoulders are cold in the fall and winter, so wearing a big scarf is one way to solve this problem.
Years ago, I was gifted an amazing plaid blanket scarf from Abercrombie (this one is similar) that I wear all. the. time. The only problem is that it's bright red and a bit Christmas-y, so I usually only like wearing it between between the beginning of November and the new year, but I'll push it through January and even February because it's so warm and I love it so much. Since this item is so often worn, I feel like I need to invest in another, more neutral toned scarf that serves the same purpose and can be worn before and after the holiday season.
